Manchester United are in contact with Borussia Dortmund over signing Jadon Sancho but there is still no agreement over the payment structure for the transfer, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.
The reliable journalist was reacting to a tweet that backed the Italian’s reporting above another reporter, Duncan Castles, who had suggested that a deal between the two sides was close:
thanks my friend! As always said, talks are still on between Man United and BVB. Every day. 24/24. They’re trying to resolve everything, to find a solution about add ons and installments. Also today the two clubs have been in contact. Let’s see what will happen ??♂️ #Sancho

With negotiations intensifying, it does appear we could be nearing the end of the transfer saga for Sancho. Reports in Germany suggest Dortmund have set a deadline for tomorrow for getting the deal over the line so there could be some intense discussions underway as we speak.
Throughout the entire process, Dortmund have been adamant that they will not sell for less than €120m (£108m), even in the current financial climate. Whether United have finally given in to those demands during talks, we shall have to wait and see.
