Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is “confident” that his transfer to Manchester United will be finalised “by the end of the week” according to the Independent.

It is believed that Dortmund want a deal agreed before August 10th and, with that in mind, the Red Devils have stepped up their efforts to secure his signature.

At the time of writing, a transfer fee has not been agreed, with discussions being held over the payment structure, including instalments and add-ons.

However, personal terms are believed to have already been sorted out and Sancho himself is said to be very keen to get the deal over the line.

There have been various reports about the cost of the transfer. The Independent has cited sources that the total amount could be £120m, with £60m upfront, while others claim the transfer will cost approximately £108m with £70m being paid to Dortmund immediately. Whatever the price, fans will be hoping that an agreement is reached sooner rather than later.
