‘You Can’t Have Ten Hag In The Dugout’ Ex-Premier League Star Backs Manchester United To Make Shocking Switch

Several audiences have called for the head of Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag recently – Jamie O’Hara is the latest name to call for his sacking.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder thinks that United’s 4-0 loss against Crystal Palace was a ‘sackable offence’ and that the Red Devils should replace him with Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick before the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

O’Hara thinks that Carrick could take over at United for ‘just a couple of games’, then ‘go back to Middlesbrough’ afterwards. It is unclear if O’Hara knows that this is not how it works or not.

He also backed Marcus Rashford, who has come under heavy criticism this season. O’Hara thinks he can be a ‘world class player’, but he needs the ‘right manager around him’.

What did O’Hara say about Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag?

Speaking in an interview with Grosvenor Sport, O’Hara said: “Against Crystal Palace on Monday night, Manchester United were terrible. It was a sackable offence. I can’t believe how bad Ten Hag is, how bad it’s got and that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is actually sticking by him. They should get someone new in for the final to give themselves a chance. You can’t have Ten Hag in the dugout.

“He’s leaving at the end of the season. The players have stopped running for him. They’re going into that game in a bad vein of form, in a bad frame of mind. I would change it and try and get a lift by getting in Michael Carrick. Just a couple of games, then he can go back to Middlesbrough.

“If I was a manager coming into Manchester United and taking over the reins, I would say I want Marcus Rashford. He’s got star quality and if you get the right manager around him, he can be a world class player.”
