Manchester United are keeping tabs on Matthijs de Ligt’s situation at Juventus, according to reports in the English media. It is believed the Bianconeri may consider offloading the Dutch international in the summer after an indifferent first season in Italy.
The Red Devils were interested in the 20-year-old before he moved to Serie A last summer, but fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the news that the Manchester club could revive their interest in the defender:
Would 100% Take him.

De Ligt has struggled somewhat since moving to Juve, but he is a player with huge potential so it is not a surprise that United would be interested if he comes back available.
However, the presence of agent Mino Raiola would likely make any deal difficult. Erling Haaland’s decision to move to Borussia Dortmund instead of Old Trafford in January led many supporters to call for the club to never do business with the Dutchman again.
