Manchester United have registered an interest in signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports in the Danish media.
The 20-year-old has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle in recent weeks but it is believed that United and Real Madrid are the first two teams to formally approach Atalanta about the player.
Fans on Twitter are split over whether Hojlund would be a good purchase, with some believing that he already has the ability to start for the Red Devils, while others feel he lacks the requisite experience:
we need him!

There is no doubt that Hojlund is very much still a work in progress, and you do question whether he is worth his reported £70m asking price.
Since joining Atalanta from Sturm Graz last summer, the Dane has scored eight times in 28 appearances, which isn’t exactly an eye-catching number. Even so, the forward does have massive potential and United may believe he can lead the line for many years to come.
