Manchester United have reached out to Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic’s agent a number of times, according to reports in Italy.

His representative Fali Ramadani is said to be in constant contact with the Red Devils regarding the centre-back, with enquiries being made over whether the player is interested in moving to the Premier League.

Milenkovic is believed to be available for just €25m (£23m) in the January transfer window, with the 23-year-old refusing to sign a new contract. The Serbian international’s current deal expires in eighteen months time and it appears that Fiorentina want to get as much as they can for the player before he enters his final year.

United are not the only team interested in the centre-half, though. AC Milan and West Ham tried to sign him in the summer but were unable to match his asking price, while Tottenham are also thought to be keeping tabs on him.
