United Given Major Transfer Boost As Cut Price Bundesliga Star Eyes Premier League Switch

Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is interested in making the move to England, according to reports in the French media.

Manchester United, along with Arsenal, West Ham and Juventus have been linked with the France international in the German press over the past few days and it seems the 27-year-old will be on the move before the transfer window closes.

Tolisso has been told that he is not part of new Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann’s first-team plans, and with the player’s contract expiring next summer, the Bundesliga champions have made the decision to sell him.

A €10m (£8.5m) price tag has been placed on the Frenchman, which is a tiny fraction of the €41.5m that Bayern paid Lyon for the midfielder back in 2017.

For that figure, United may well be attracted into going after Tolisso. The Red Devils could do with strengthening their options in midfield, but there are some concerns about the Bayern star’s fitness levels.

Over the past four years, the player has suffered no less than 11 injuries, missing a total of 78 matches in the process.
