United Among ‘Several Big Teams’ Lining Up Move For 44M Rated French Ace

Manchester United are among “several big teams” weighing up an offer for Rennes forward Martin Terrier ahead of next summer, according to Media Foot.

The French website claim that the Red Devils, Liverpool and Arsenal have all enquired about the France international, who has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances this campaign.

Despite sustaining a serious knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season, it is said that clubs, including United, retain an interest in Terrier.

Back in November, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Rennes would demand between €45m (£40m) and €50m (£44m) for the 25-year-old, although the figure may be lower now he has been sidelined.

It is not believed that United have made Terrier a priority target at this stage, likely because of his fitness situation. Reports suggest that Erik ten Hag’s side have already drawn up a three-man shortlist of strikers ahead of the summer transfer window.
