Report Names The THREE Strikers (Who Have Scored 35 Goals Between Them This Season) That United Are Targeting

Manchester United have a shortlist of three strikers that they are looking to target next summer, according to ESPN.

The club are aimng to bring in Besiktas’ Wout Weghorst as a stopgap until the end of the season but it is believed that manager Erik ten Hag is keen to secure a marquee signing upfront.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane, (who has scored 17 times in all competitions this season) is believed to be back on the agenda. The 29-year-old has eighteen months left on his contract and he has limited options in terms of other potential clubs in the Premier League.

Napoli’s Victor Osmihen (11 goals) is reportedly under consideration too, but Chelsea and Arsenal have also been heavily linked with the Nigerian international, who could cost in excess of €100m (£88m).

The third and final option is said to be Red Bull Salzburg’s Benjamin Sesko (7 goals). The Slovenian international is likely to be the most complicated to get, though, as he has already agreed a move to RB Leipzig. United would probably have to pay a premium to persuade the Bundesliga side to relinquish their claim on the young forward.
