“May Well Want To Go…” Reliable Journalist Reveals 282 Goal Striker Is Open To United Switch

Tottenham forward Harry Kane may consider a move to Manchester United next summer, according to the Daily Telegraph reporter Luke Edwards.

The journalist, who is usually pretty reliable, claims that as the England captain will have just one year left on his contract at the end of the season, he will weigh up his options with Old Trafford likely to be an attractive destination:

“We will be talking about Harry Kane 100% in the summer. I have a sneaky feeling that Manchester United might come in for Harry Kane in the summer and I have a sneaky feeling that he may well want to go.”

Kane came close to leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium eighteen months ago when Manchester City made a number of offers for the striker.

The 29-year-old eventually decided to remain with Spurs, but he did not agree to sign a new deal at the time, leaving the door open for him to depart the London club in the future.

Kane, who has scored 282 goals in his senior career, may see the summer as the last chance for him to get a big move. In addition to United, Bayern Munich have been mentioned as a potential suitor, while Chelsea have also tentatively been suggested. Out of the three, though, United would be seen as the favourite for the player’s signature.
