‘Yesss’ ‘He’s Coming To The Theatre Of Dreams’ United Fans React As Romano Says Talks Will Take Place Over £60M Move

Manchester United are lining up a move for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on the United Stand YouTube channel, Romano said that the Red Devils are looking to enter talks with the 22-year-old in the near future:

“The plan for Manchester United is to enter into concrete conversations in the next weeks to understand how is the complete situation around Olise. They know the release clause. They’re really well informed on the release clause since November, since December.”

The majority of fans on X are excited about the prospect of Olise moving to Old Trafford, especially after seeing him rip United’s defence to shreds playing for Palace on Monday night:

How much will Olise cost?

Romano has also confirmed that the buyout fee in the Frenchman’s contract is worth £60m, so that is the figure that United will have to pay for the player.

Any official approach, though, is only likely to happen once United’s project has been proposed to Olise and the club know that he wants to join them.

United will face competition for the forward

The Crystal Palace star is in high demand and Erik ten Hags side will have a battle on their hands if they want to secure his signature.

Romano mentioned that both Arsenal and Newcastle are also keen on Olise but other teams are likely to get involved as well.
