Manchester United will be allowed to participate in the Europa League semi-finals despite being part of a breakaway Super League, according to reports in Spain.
Five of the eight semi-finalists in the Champions League and Europa League have pledged their support for the new competition, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, but UEFA has decided not to ban them from the final four.
To say the news has been met with a mixed reaction among supporters on Twitter, would be an understatement. Some fans want the Red Devils to be thrown out to send a signal to United’s owners, while others are not as forthright with their views:
Kick us out

UEFA are likely to be in discussions with United and the other 11 clubs behind the scenes, in order to try and resolve the situation. However, a lot of the damage has already been done, with many extremely disenchanted by how United have handled the situation.
