“I Can Confirm…” Agent Hands United Big Boost In Race To Land Bundesliga Ace Who Has Been Hailed As The Next Messi

The agent of Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has revealed that the teenager is not close to signing a contract extension with the Bundesliga club.

It was reported earlier this week that the German international was set to agree a new deal that would keep him at Dortmund beyond the end of the season. However, Patrick Williams has dismissed those claims:

“I can confirm that we are not yet about to sign a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund.”

Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in the 18-year-old, who has been hailed by Samuel Eto’o as the “next top player” in world football after Lionel Messi.

The forward was said to be demanding a deal worth around £6m a year from potential suitors but Williams has been quick to downplay those rumours as well:

“I can also assure you that the numbers that are circulating are simply not correct and Youssoufa was never offered that. But we are still in contact with Dortmund and will see what the next few days bring.”

United could guarantee Moukoko the game time he wants, unlike a number of other teams pursuing his signature, so you would think Erik ten Hag’s team should have a decent chance of securing the player’s services.
