Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Porto left-back Alex Telles, with the final details being ironed out, but there is still no agreement over a transfer fee, according to reports in the UK.
The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract at the Estadio do Dragao, and the Red Devils are being careful about not paying over the odds, but the lack of movement is leading to a lot of frustration among fans on Twitter:
Crazy we are taking so long on a €20m deal

I’m getting fed up of this Telles saga, united should act as quickly as possible to complete the deal before it is too late.

The fee being asked for has varied depending on the story that you read. Some reports in Portugal say Telles is available for €20m (£18m), while some in the UK have claimed that Porto want anything between €25m (£23M) and €35m (£32m).
It is thought that Porto are very keen to offload him before the transfer window closes as they have already lost two players, Yacine Brahimi and Hector Herrera, on free transfers due to their contract situations over the past couple of years. There could be some brinkmanship here as United look to get Telles’s price down even further.
