Barcelona are considering a move for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly this summer, according to reports in the English media.
The Ivorian has not played a single minute of football since he returned from the African Cup of Nations and he is likely to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season for the right price.
Supporters on Twitter have been discussing what the club should do with Bailly, with some suggesting that another centre-back should be first on the chopping block:
Can they not have Maguire instead

Swap deal for Araujo

It will be in his interest to go there.
If we get a fee then all the better, but it will be a shame to see him go but he is not getting enough games— Gary Kirby (@gk_kirby) February 27, 2022
They can have Maguire for £1.50p

As some fans have pointed out, the Red Devils are also reportedly interested in Ronald Araujo, along with Chelsea and Liverpool, but the Uruguayan is thought to be keen on staying at the Camp Nou so selling Bailly outright may be the only option.
It is believed that United will be looking to recoup as much of the £30m they paid for Bailly as possible, and they are in a strong position with the 27-year-old’s contract set to expire in 2024, as well as an option to extend for a further year.
Whether Barca would be open to paying that much, considering their rather difficult financial situation, we shall have to wait and see.
