Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is expected to return to team training at the start of next month, according to TyC Sports reporter Gaston Edul.
The Argentinian journalist says Garnacho still needs some time to get back to full fitness but he doesn’t expect the winger to be sidelined for much longer:
“Alejandro Garnacho is recovering very well. It is estimated that he will start working with the group on May 1. He has ten days of recovery.”
Garnacho took to Instagram a few days ago to share a picture of his boots, claiming that he was preparing to return to training. It looks as though he will be put through his paces individually first before being made available for first-team selection again.
The 18-year-old has not played for United since picking up an ankle injury in the 0-0 draw against Southampton well over a month ago. He had come on as a substitute in that match but he lasted just under 20 minutes before he was forced off the pitch after a heavy tackle from Kyle Walker-Peters.
