Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka had an excellent game as Erik ten Hag’s side saw off Brighton in the FA Cup.
It wasn’t a particularly flashy performance from the 25-year-old but he was solid as a rock, keeping the dangerous Kaoru Mitoma quiet and helping the Red Devils secure a clean sheet.

There remain some doubts about Wan-Bissaka’s future at Old Trafford beyond the end of the season but that sort of display will certainly show the doubters, and his manager, that he does have a part to play going forward.
Of course, he will never be the best in the final third of the pitch, even though he has improved in that regard this season, but he can clearly do a job for the team defensively when called upon.
