Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba will be out for a few weeks after picking up a thigh injury in the draw against Everton at the weekend.
The Frenchman is now expected to miss the two Europa League games against Real Sociedad as well as league matches versus West Brom, Newcastle and Chelsea.
With Pogba likely to be absent for six games in total, including tonight’s FA Cup tie against West Ham, supporters on Twitter are disappointed he will be out for so long:

Pogba’s got us out of a few pickles recently. City and Chelsea coming up, big games and that 6 points over Chelsea will be gone.

Pogba has been in excellent form in recent months and Solskjaer will be very disappointed to have one of his key players unavailable for some crucial fixtures. One saving grace is that he should be back for the huge derby against Manchester City on March 6th but, even so, it is still a big loss. The likes of Fred and Donny van de Beek will need to step up in his absence.
