Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning to the club, according to reports in the UK.
The Swedish striker left Old Trafford for MLS side LA Galaxy in March, but the Portuguese boss is said to want the 37-year-old back to help influence the dressing room.
Fans on Twitter all seem pretty enthusiastic about the possibility of Ibrahimovic returning:
Would take him back in a heartbeat too. 37 and would still be the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

Tbh he's an actual leader and not one player on the pitch would have been so lethargic and uninterested if he was still here.

This is actually needed

Even if he doesn't play his presence alone will make players perform better

Great move but don’t think it will happen

I'd have him just to roam around in the dressing room at Carrington. We need his mentality and attitude.

The forward has certainly shown he is still capable of performing at a good level. During the current MLS season, he has scored an impressive 21 goals in just 25 appearances.
However, there are question marks over whether Ibrahimovic is still capable of playing in the high intensity of Premier League football.
While his talent isn’t in question, both his age and his fitness could be major concerns. The striker played just seven times for United following a serious knee injury he sustained in April 2017.
Still, Mourinho may feel his mere presence in the squad could improve the atmosphere inside the dressing room.
