Manchester United may join Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to sign Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Nerazzurri are currently suffering from financial difficulties and, while they are determined to keep hold of the Italian international, they could be tempted to sell for around €70m (£60m).
Supporters on Twitter are pretty sceptical about the source of the story but they wouldn’t be against Barella moving to Old Trafford:
would be class but no chance

Considering that these stories about Barella are originating from Italy, it may be the case that the player is looking for a new contract, and his agent is putting pressure on Inter by leaking rumours to the press.
Barella had an excellent Euros for Italy so it would be a surprise if United were not scouting him but, for the time being, at least, fans should be treating these stories with a large pinch of salt.
