Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that Manchester United are interested in midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Reports in Italy claim that Juventus have held talks about signing the Frenchman, but Aulas said that Juve were not the only team pursuing him:
“It’s true that Juventus are after Ndombele. But there’s also PSG, Manchester United and City. I’d honestly like to see Ndombele at Juventus with [Miralem] Pjanic, a player we launched at Lyon and who I’m still very attached to.”
“We’ll see what happens. I won’t talk about money. Economic parameters are the priority when selling players, but I’d like to sell him to [Juve chief] Andrea Agnelli if all the offers were the same.”
Fans on Twitter believe Ndombele would be an exciting addition to the squad:
Would be a dream signing. Still young and will be of great value. United are screaming for someone like him.

Ndombele is midfield powerhouse. He is better dribbler and more dynamic than Pogba.
He doesn’t need two freedom or guardian midfielders like certain Frenchman.— Egaal™ (@UtdEgaal) 30 April 2019

Sounds to me if he’s trying to create an auction. He may well prefer to sell to Juventus but we know money talks. He’d be a cracking signing tbh

However, others think he will opt against a move to Old Trafford:
We wont get him anyway.

We won’t get Ndombele, with those teams linked. We should go for Ndidi and Neves.

Ndombele could cost as much as £70m, according to reports, and it appears Aulas is looking to drive up interest in order to secure a sale.
The 22-year-old only signed for Lyon on a permanent basis for €8m (£6.9m) from Amiens last summer, but his value seems to have increased tenfold after a stellar season.
Ndombele has made 44 appearances in all competitions this campaign, scoring two goals and contributing seven assists. He has been likened to former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira and ex Tottenham star Mousa Dembele for his driving forward runs, as well as his power and strength.
