Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is well known for his humour and his comments on social media. In a recent video, the Frenchman decided to aim his fire towards Manchester City.
Singing to the tune of Oasis’s Wonderwall, whose band’s members are known to be staunch City fans, Evra mocked the club’s lack of Champions League trophies:

Unsurprisingly the video clip went down a storm with United supporters on Twitter, who are lapping up the shade that Evra was throwing towards the club’s fiercest rivals:

Evra, who also played for Monaco, Juventus and West Ham during his long career, won the Champions League with United in 2008, beating Chelsea in the final.
The left-back also racked up 13 other major honours during his time at Old Trafford, including five Premier League titles, three League Cups, four Community Shields and the Club World Cup. Since his retirement from playing, he has returned to United, coaching in the club’s academy for a period.
