Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is unlikely to make the move to Manchester United this summer after the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League, according to reports.
The 19-year-old was believed to be a top transfer target, with a £100m offer being lined up, but it appears the player won’t try to force through a move.
Some fans on Twitter feel it is indicative of where the club is at:

But we’re Manchester United blah blah blah … the world isn’t blind to how far we’ve fallen.

Other supporters don’t believe Sancho is worth the money anyway:
Overrated player

Good for both parties. No other club is willing to pay 100m for him means something. Let the kid develop

Then sign someone who wants to play for United regardless of the current situation

Dortmund are reportedly determined to keep the England international this summer so United were always relying on the teenager wanting to return to England.
However, it appears Sancho wants to continue developing his game in Germany whilst playing in the first team at the highest level.
Of course, money does talk, but it remains to be seen if Dortmund will buckle if an offer comes in which matches or exceeds their asking price.
