Manchester United are heavy favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in the summer.
The Bundesliga side’s sporting director Michael Zorc has, though, spoken out saying that the club won’t be selling the 18-year-old no matter the price:
“I’m far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now. Jadon will play at Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.”
Fans believe this is just negotiating tactic with many thinking Sancho will be a United player next season:

He’s indirectly saying whoever’s going to sign him will have to break the bank.

In other words, I need 10 mil more from United. If United want him, Sancho will be at United. 80 mil will be enough.

The teenager will likely cost a club record for United if Dortmund do sell up at the end of the campaign. Reports have suggested an £80m offer would be sufficient to recruit the England international, but the German team are likely to drive a hard bargain.
They managed to get €105m plus €40m in add-ons for Ousmane Dembele two years ago. The French winger was another player that Dortmund initially refused to sell.
Another complication is that Dembele pushed for a move to happen while Sancho is unlikely to do so with the former Manchester City player believed to be happy at his current club. A tough negotiation between the two clubs is highly likely.
