Van De Beek Outlines The One Thing United’s Players Must Do If They Are To Beat Arsenal

Manchester United attacking midfielder Donny van de Beek has called on his fellow teammates to keep their focus ahead of Sunday’s game against Arsenal.

The Red Devils head into the match after a morale-boosting 5-0 win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League during the week but van de Beek wants to make sure the team maintain their concentration levels going into the encounter versus the Gunners:

“Arsenal have showed that they have really good players, and I mean we need to be focused. We won yesterday and everybody’s happy and it’s good for the confidence and everything, but now we must go on to that game.”

Van de Beek put in an impressive display against Leipzig but there are still doubts over whether manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees him as a regular first-team starter despite spending £35m on the player in the summer.

Bruno Fernandes replaced the Dutchman in the second half on Wednesday and subsequently set up Marcus Rashford for the second goal on the night. The Portuguese international is almost certain to come back into the starting line up for the Arsenal clash, with van de Beek the favourite to make way.
