Images that purportedly show Manchester United’s new third kit have not gone down well on social media. The Zebra pattern has been in keeping with Adidas’s odd design choices for this season’s shirts.
For the vast majority of supporters on Twitter, the shirt is an eyesore and it has led some to joke that Donny van de Beek may be put off from signing for the club due to the kit:
Up there with some of the worst kit designs ever.

Kit manufacturers are known for making some strange decisions with their third kits but if Adidas really expect fans to shell £65 on this shirt, they are likely to be in for a big surprise.
It is certainly a distinctive looking kit but surely they could have come up with a better design? Thinking up new ideas for shirts on a yearly basis can be a challenge but there could have easily steered clear of such a misstep by just asking a handful of supporters for their opinion.
