United Told That 56M Could Be Enough To Secure Deal For La Liga Star Who Admits He “Might Have To Move” Clubs

Sevilla will consider selling centre-back Jules Kounde for below his €80m (£69m) release clause, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan publication report that a fee between €65m (£56m) and €70m (£60m) could be enough to snap up the Frenchman, who is believed to be on Manchester United’s radar, along with Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona.

Kounde has spoken out in recent days to say that he is open to leaving Sevilla this summer, stating that he “might have to move” clubs in order to realise his ambitions.

However, while United are said to be interested in the 23-year-old, it is not believed that he is their number one target to strengthen their centre-back options. Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is thought to be the priority at the moment.

Villarreal’s Pau Torres and Lille’s Sven Botman, along with Kounde, are said to be the alternatives so we shall see if the Sevilla player’s new price tag changes the Red Devils’ transfer plans.
