United Preparing Summer Bid For £105m Rated Portuguese Wonderkid

Manchester United are considering a summer offer for Benfica playmaker Joao Felix, according to reports in the English media.

The 19-year-old has been impressing the club’s scouts with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having received a number of positive reports on the midfielder.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are also believed to be keeping an eye on Felix, while Liverpool and Manchester City had been linked with the teenager by the Portuguese media last month.

The attacking midfielder is believed to have a €120m (£105m) release clause that would have to be met by United.

It is a sizeable figure for a player who has made just 23 appearances for Benfica’s first team. His nine goals and five assists this season are seriously impressive numbers though and could sway United into making a move.

The Red Devils are said to be very keen to bring in younger talent to the club and Felix would also add creativity to a side looking to play vibrant attacking football.
