Manchester United have made enquiries about Chicago Fire forward Jhon Duran, according to reports in the English media.

Liverpool and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the Colombian, who has looked impressive since moving to the MLS at the start of this year.

Duran has made 28 appearances for Chicago so far, scoring eight goals, with five of those coming in his last five matches, but his team did not have the best of seasons.

Chicago finished third from bottom of the Eastern Conference and they are reportedly willing to sell Duran if a club matches their £10m asking price.

The teenager’s agent and family have recently travelled to Europe to canvass interest in the striker. They have already been to England, whilst they are also believed to be holding talks with teams in Spain and Germany. We shall see who wins the race for the 18-year-old’s signature.
