Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez was pictured with an ice pack on his foot after being substituted during the 4-3 win over Wolves on Thursday night.
The Argentinian international has only recently recovered from a serious foot injury, which led to some fans on X being rather concerned by what they saw:
I am so worried about this …. He is the only defender who can play out from the back. We can’t do much without Martinez

Will Martinez be fit to face West Ham?
All the signs suggest that the 26-year-old will be available for Sunday afternoon’s fixture. It has been suggested that the defender only picked up a very minor knock, and he was taken off merely as a precaution.
With a key game coming up against Aston Villa too, supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed that Martinez is fit to play over a key period.
A Manchester United injury update
Manager Erik ten Hag currently has five players out of contention, which is significantly fewer than at any other stage this season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (knock), Mason Mount (calf) and Tyrell Malacia (knee) are believed to be the closest to making their return to the matchday squad. Malacia has missed the whole season but the left-back is now back on the training pitch.
Victor Lindelof (groin) is also out on the grass but, after spending the best part of two months on the sidelines, the defender may need some time to recover match sharpness. Anthony Martial could miss the rest of the campaign after undergoing groin surgery.
