United In ‘Position’ To ‘Put A Lot Of Money On The Table’ To Sign La Liga Starlet Who Could Be Sold For 89M

Manchester United are one of the Premier League clubs who are “in position” to “put a lot of money on the table” for Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, according to Sport.

The Catalan newspaper claims that Barca could be tempted to sell the Spaniard at the end of the season if a team were to offer around €100m (£89m).

Although the La Liga side would prefer Fati to stay, they are aware that the player could become unsettled if he isn’t afforded more playing opportunities.

Sport claim that the 20-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already been sounding out other clubs ahead of the summer, and there could be a situation where the player is sold for the right price.

United, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been suggested as potential destinations for Fati but it appears that his future will depend on how much game time he gets between now and May.
