United And Premier League Clubs Find Out Their Opponents As Europa League Last 32 Draw Is Made

Manchester United will face La Liga leaders Real Sociedad in the last 32 of the Europa League. Despite dropping down into Europe’s second-tier competition, they won’t be facing an easy run in the tournament.

The Basque club have only lost once in the league this season, currently leading Atletico Madrid on goal difference, as well as being three points ahead of Real Madrid.

Former Manchester City star David Silva has helped guide them to a superb start to the campaign and United will need to be at their best if they are to progress to the last 16.

In terms of other English clubs, Tottenham had a much easier draw on paper as they face Austrian Bundesliga outfit Wolfsberger, while Arsenal have a challenging tie against Portuguese giants Benfica. Leicester, meanwhile, will play Czech side Slavia Prague.

The first legs will be played on February 18th next year, with the second game taking place on February 25th.
