United And Liverpool Plotting Moves For 20M Rated Zambian Marksman

Manchester United and Liverpool are among a host of clubs who are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka, according to reports in the English media.

The Zambian international joined the Austrian side three years ago, and he has gradually established himself as a first-team player over the last twelve months.

Daka scored 27 goals in all competitions for Salzburg last campaign and with the player still only 21 years of age, United are believed to be very keen on snapping up the forward who they believe has massive potential.

With competition likely to be fierce for the striker, though, he could fetch a fee in the region of £20m but the player would certainly fit the profile that Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking for.

Daka can play right across the front three, although the Zambian has primarily played through the middle since he became a regular starter for Salzburg.
