Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek came on at half time to replace Paul Pogba in the 2-0 win over Granada last night.
The Dutchman’s omission from the starting lineup surprised some fans and journalists, considering the Red Devils were already two goals up from the first leg.
However, van de Beek put in a pretty impressive cameo display during the second half, and supporters on Twitter think manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should give the 23-year-old more opportunities from the beginning of games:
Omg this man deserve some minutes

The main highlight of van de Beek’s performance was his cross to set up a gilt-edged chance for Mason Greenwood. He did also link-up play well and made good use of possession.
Even so, the big issue for the Netherlands international is where he fits in. With Pogba and Bruno Fernandes both available for selection, it’s unlikely that he’ll get much of a look-in for upcoming matches.
