These Fans Believe Two United Stars Are Candidates For The Worst Player In The Premier League This Season

There’s no doubt that both Fred and Alexis Sanchez haven’t lived up to expectations since they arrived at Old Trafford.

In the Brazilian’s case, much was expected after he signed for £53m from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer, but it’s fair to say he hasn’t justified his price tag.

The midfielder has scored just one goal and started only nine Premier League games. His performance in Paris may go a long way to revitalising his United career, but it’s going to take more than one good performance to turnaround his fortunes.

While Fred may be still adapting to English football, Sanchez has no such excuse. Injuries have certainly played their part in his poor form since he arrived from Arsenal last January but, when fit, the Chilean’s displays have been well below par.

He actually has a worst record for United this season than during his first six months at the club. The 30-year-old has just two goals and four assists in 23 games this campaign, compared to three goals and five assists in 18 appearances last year.

These Playmaker FC pundits think both Fred and Alexis Sanchez are candidates for the worst player in the Premier League this season:
