‘Strong On The Player’ New Report Confirms United Are Leading The Race For French Midfield Destroyer

Manchester United are firm favourites to snap up Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian publication has added weight to speculation in Spain that the Red Devils are in pole position to secure the Frenchman’s service. They claim that Ralf Rangnick’s side are “strong on the player” and have seemingly “overtaken all competitors” in the battle to sign the midfielder.

Kamara is out of contract at the end of the season, but clubs such as Chelsea and Roma have been mentioned as potential rivals for the 22-year-old’s signature.

United could do with bringing in the player this month, and there have been some reports suggesting that the club are seriously exploring that possibility. With just days remaining before the transfer window closes, though, it looks more likely that the France Under 21 international will join on a free transfer when his current deal expires in June.
