‘Stop Being Silly United. Get This Kid’ ‘Just Sign Him’ Fans Frustrated As Club Consider Delaying 30M Transfer

Manchester United have discussed signing Norwich right-back Max Aarons but they may delay a possible bid until the end of the season, according to reports in the UK.

It was believed that the £30m rated defender would be a target for the January transfer window and supporters on Twitter are not pleased that the Red Devils are seemingly dragging their heels:

United have always been rather slow when it comes to completing deals and the need to sign a new right-back is arguably quite urgent considering the poor form of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in recent months.

Competition for the 23-year-old is badly needed so signing a young, hungry, attack-minded defender like Aarons this month would make a lot of sense.

The Canaries star has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and if he does have a good second half of the season, there could be a lot more teams in for him next summer. Whether that prospect will force United to make a move for the right-back earlier than that, we shall see.
