Manchester United are “pushing the most” to snap up Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist claims that Bayern Munich are also keen on the Frenchman and, while the player hasn’t made a decision on his future yet, the Red Devils are currently in pole position to sign him:
❗️News Kolo Muani: Understand #MUFC is the club who is pushing the most at this stage! More than #FCBayern! Player has not taken any decision yet. No verbal agreement with any club. His management is sounding out the market. It’s up to Bayern now in order to make the next step… pic.twitter.com/0ARuunBAkl

Muani has been in outstanding form since moving to Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer, scoring 20 goals and contributing 14 assists in all competitions.
However, his performances have led to Frankfurt pushing up his price tag to between €100m (£88m) and €120m (£105.5m).
It would be a surprise if United considered breaking their transfer record to sign Muani but, from Plettenberg’s remarks, it seems the club are very much hoping to secure his services.
In addition to Bayern, other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Liverpool have been mentioned as potential suitors, although United look to be the team best placed currently.
