‘Should Turn In A Transfer Request’ ‘Get It Done ASAP’ United Fans React As Brazilian Ace Makes Transfer Stance Clear To His Club

Ajax winger Antony has told the Eredivisie champions to seriously consider bids for him this summer, according to reports in the English media.

The Brazilian international is believed to be a key target for Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag but Ajax may hold out for as much as €80m (£69m) to sell him.

It’s a sizeable fee and a number of supporters on Twitter feel Antony may have to do more to force through a move to Old Trafford:

We shall have to wait and see how desperate Antony is to leave Ajax. The Dutch club are not exactly short of cash after sanctioning a number of sales in the past few weeks, so they will feel entitled to stick to their asking price.

With Chelsea having also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, Ajax will also believe that there is no need to find a compromise with United. The situation with Antony could take some time to resolve.
