It is “expected” that there will be “new approaches” for Ajax duo Lisandro Martinez and Antony very soon, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United are among the teams looking to recruit the two players and Romano says Ajax are bracing themselves for fresh bids from interested parties:
Important week for Ajax. New, direct talks will take place for Steven Bergwijn as main target, work in progress to sign him with Tottenham now open to sell. Owen Wijndal deal getting closer. ⚪️🔴 #Ajax
New approaches also expected for Antony & Lisandro Martinez.

Out of the two, the Antony deal looks the most complicated to complete. While the winger is believed to be interested in moving to Old Trafford, Ajax are expected to hold out for as much as €80m (£69m).
Chelsea have also reportedly had talks with the Brazilian’s representatives so there is a danger that the Blues could enter the running for his signature.
Ajax are not thought to be demanding as much for Martinez. It has been claimed that the Eredivisie champions would be prepared to do a deal for a fee in the region of €50m (£43m), but there is also the possibility that Arsenal could involve themselves in the battle to secure the defender’s services.
