Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez has announced his new ‘club’ on his Twitter account this morning and it isn’t what you think.
Club Costa City is a new youth initiative set up by him and his brother Aaron with the support of Nike. It will bring together 30 clubs and over 500 players between the ages of 4 and 18 in their home town of Elche:

The likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with a move for Saul, and speculation over a potential switch to England had increased in recent days before the 25-year-old’s announcement.
This is some first class trolling from Saul, and he has certainly raised the profile of Club Costa City, even if he has lost quite a few followers because of the publicity stunt.
With Saul’s release clause currently at €150m (£134m), the Spaniard was always unlikely to be on the move this summer anyway.
