Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be without the likes of Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial for the game against Sheriff on Thursday night.
The trio are not in the squad that will travel out to Moldova for the Europa League group fixture, leaving ten Hag restricted in terms of his choices for the starting eleven.
David De Gea will start in goal but there could be changes in the back four following the 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad last week. Luke Shaw is fit again and he may take the place of Tyrell Malacia
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez may also be recalled in the centre of defence, with there being no weekend league fixture. Diogo Dalot will likely continue at right-back.
Fred could be dropped in favour of Bruno Fernandes, with Casemiro and Christian Eriksen making up the rest of the midfield three.
Up front, Jadon Sancho could replace Anthony Elanga, with Antony starting once more on the right flank and Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line.
Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Sheriff:
De Gea, Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fernandes, Eriksen, Antony, Ronaldo, Sancho
