PSV Eindhoven won’t sell Cody Gakpo for below €50m (£43.6m) during the January transfer window, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United did register their interest in the Dutch international in the summer but opted to sign Ajax’s Antony instead. However, Romano says a move could still happen in the New Year:

The likes of Arsenal, Leeds and Southampton have also been linked with Gakpo over the past few months, but United are the likeliest to table a bid for the forward, who has already scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
Manager Erik ten Hag has bemoaned his limited options upfront and the fact that he resorted to utilising Harry Maguire as an emergency striker against Real Sociedad last week sums up the situation.
A number of journalists have said that United aren’t likely to spend big when the transfer window reopens so we shall have to wait and see whether they will free up the funds to sign Gakpo or another forward.
