Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to the Sun journalist Ken Lawrence.

The reporter claims the Red Devils have been holding “secret talks” for a number of months with the player, and they’ve come to an agreement over his salary and bonuses.

However, Lawrence also mentions that a “huge buyout clause” has been included in the contract, which is a rare occurrence in English football.

Release fees are commonplace in Germany, Spain and Italy but they are almost never used in the Premier League.

Even though United have reportedly concluded talks with the player, they have yet to come to an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over a transfer fee.

The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be interested in Sancho, while it is believed the Red Devils will have to break their record fee in order to secure the 20-year-old’s signature.
