Rashford Beats Arsenal And City Stars To Claim Yet Another Premier League Award

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been handed the Premier League Player of the Month award for January.

The 25-year-old saw off competition from the likes of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez, Newcastle United’s Dan Burn, Brighton’s Solly March, Brentford’s David Raya and Nottingham Forest’s Brennan Johnson.

It is the second time in a row that Rashford has been given the prize, after also being given the accolade for his performances in November/December.

The England international is in a rich vein of form at the moment, having racked up three goals in four appearances last month, including strikes against Bournemouth, City and Arsenal.

Manager Erik ten Hag has hailed Rashford as “unstoppable” currently, which is a very apt description for the way the striker has been performing recently.

He will be looking to carry on in a similar fashion through February, with the Red Devils taking on Crystal Palace this weekend.
