Manchester United have offered a €4m (£3.5m) fee to take Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix on loan for the rest of the season, according to reports in Spain.
However, Atletico are not willing to let the Portuguese international leave unless they receive a proposal in the region of €12m (£10.6m) to €13m (£11.5m), leaving many United fans on Twitter doubting whether a deal can be done:
No no no no no. Not worth it. Would rather invest 15-20m in Moukoko

It’s the 5th of January. Of course they’ll hold out. If they’re sticking to that number, he’ll be in Madrid for the remainder of the season

4M for six months is more realistic, we can’t be spending like Oil clubs

Why are they being greedy he doesn’t even want to train for them but they are demanding high figures like they have a choice 🤦🏾♂️

Instead of putting 13 mills on Felix as a loan fee, why can't we try and sign Dusan Vlahovic. We badly need a CF.

These guys must be smoking something if they think they'll get 12m for a loan player

United and Arsenal are believed to be the two clubs who are serious about securing Felix’s services this month, while Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the player.
At the moment, though, it appears the 23-year-old will be staying in Madrid, with Atletico’s excessive demands putting off most teams.
With Felix pressing for a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano, though, his club may well soften their stance before the January transfer window closes. An agreement is more likely to be reached closer to deadline day
