Senior sources at Manchester United have dismissed reports that they are interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The local newspaper suggest that the Mexican international is not being pursued by the Red Devils despite claims that the club were preparing to open talks with Wolves for both the 28-year-old and his teammate Ruben Neves.
Some supporters are frustrated with United’s apparent decision not to pursue Jimenez:

While other fans are glad that the Mexican is not on the club’s radar:

It could be the case that United are trying to throw the media off the scent by reportedly dismissing the speculation, but we shall have to wait and see.
After missing out on Erling Haaland, a move for a striker in the January transfer window is likely to be on the cards, but at this time, it doesn’t appear that Jimenez will be moving to Old Trafford.
