Manchester United V Watford: Team News And Betting Odds

Manchester United would have taken heart from their 2-0 win over Chelsea on Monday night, but a much-changed team struggled versus Club Brugge in the Europa League, and they will be hoping for a much better display against Watford on Sunday.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Scott McTominay is in line to make the bench this weekend. The 23-year-old has been out since Boxing Day with a knee injury.

The Red Devils will still be without Paul Pogba (ankle), Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring), Mason Greenwood (illness) and Lee Grant. The biggest blow, though, is Marcus Rashford with it being confirmed that the 22-year-old is unlikely to return before the end of the season with a back injury.

Watford boss Nigel Pearson could have both Kiko Femenia (hamstring) and Ismaila Sarr (thigh) back available, but Tom Cleverley is still recovering match fitness while Daryl Janmaat remains out with a knee injury.

The bookies have United as favourites with Unibet pricing them at 8/13 odds-on for the win. A draw is currently 16/5 with Betfred while a Watford victory is 5/1 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to United
