Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he will field his strongest team in the latter stages of the Europa League.
Up until now, the Norwegian has fielded a mix of players, including youngsters, but with the Red Devils now having reached the business end of the competition, as they face FC Copenhagen in the quarter-finals, it looks as though it will be an almost full-strength side this evening.
United do have some injuries to contend with. Solskjaer has confirmed that Phil Jones will miss the rest of the season with a knee problem, while Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe remain sidelined.
Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face FC Copenhagen:
Romero, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams, Matic, Fernandes, Pogba, Greenwood, Martial, Rashford
Copenhagen have Viktor Fischer (groin) and Nicolaj Thomsen on the treatment table, while Michael Santos is suspended for the game.
FC Copenhagen’s Predicted XI:
Johnsson, Varela, Nelsson, Bjelland, Boilesen, Stage, Zeca, Biel, Wind, Falk, Kaufmann
The bookmakers have made United heavy favourites for the game in Cologne. They are 2/9 odds-on at Betway, while a draw after 90 minutes is priced at 6/1 with Betfred. A victory for Copenhagen is 13/1 at Betfair.
Predicted Score – 3-1 to United
