Bruno Fernandes was full of praise for Alejandro Garnacho, following Manchester United’s win over Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.
In a post on Instagram, Fernandes uploaded three photos. The first showed him celebrating post-match, the second showed him celebrating with Marcus Rashford and the third was a picture of him celebrating with Garnacho (while also appearing to kick the young Argentinian).
In the post’s caption, Fernandes wrote: “This is the way 💪🏼 the United way ❤️ @garnacho7 you know you deserve this kick 😤😂”.
Several of Fernandes’ United teammates commented on the post, including Tyrell Malacia, Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez. Wout Weghorst also left a comment, writing: “Always up front, class.”
Despite his young age, it seems that Garnacho has had no problem integrating into United’s squad. He appears to be fitting in very well with the group and is developing bonds with his teammates.
Manchester United beat Leeds by a score of 2-0, with goals coming through Rashford and Garnacho. Despite the game looking like it may have petered out to a goalless draw, United struck late on and stunned the Whites en route to victory.
United are now third in the Premier League table, just five points behind league leaders Arsenal. However, the Gunners have two games in hand over them – on top of this, the team in second (Manchester City) also have a game in hand over the Red Devils.
